Here at SFist HQ, we were excited when we heard that Friend of SFist Eddie was going to go ahead with his plan (first rumored at SXSW) to give WebZine a kick start. In the last few months we've gotten drunk at many meetings, put together a panel, traded buttloads of email and spent most of our time thinking about the parties (that's how roll).

Well, the fun just got a lot more inclusive, since each and every one of you can now purchase tickets for the confab online. What does a $20 weekend pass get you? Two days and two nights spending time with the next generation of media mavens, that's what. WebZine alums include Charlie Anders, Evan Williams and Michael Moore, just to name a few off the top of our heads. Annalee Newitz and Justin Hall will be emceeing this year, so you know it'll be offbeat and off the hook.

There's gonna be workshops, there's gonna be panels, there's gonna be nooky in the bathrooms -- anything's possible when you put content nerds, tech nerds and everyone in between together in a pot called the Swedish American Hall, add beer, and stir. Though we've contributed our time and sponsorship, so we're a tad biased, we think you'll agree that it's the must-attend event for September. So sign up now, and thank us later.
