As that big clock at 5th and Mission ticks its way to 6 tonight, the Media Workers Guild will start to assemble to vote on management's insulting offer to the union.

We here at SFist would like to cast aside any tattered shreds of objectivity we might have once had to say that we support all the Guild workers at this very difficult time, and wish you the best.

We can't imagine what you must be going through in your effort to protect your future (in the words on one employee "either way I will feel bad and possibly be accountable for the termination/or screwing over of good hard working people"), and promise to (figuratively, as we at SFist abhor violence) kick Vega in the nuts if we ever run into him on the street.
