What did we tell you, Chris? Switch to blogger.com! The Chron, fresh from learning that "blog" is short for "Web-log," (gosh! You can read them any old time and they can be refreshed as often as you like? You don't say!), finally heard that SF Supervisor Chris Daly's keeping a blog. Gasp! Unable to find any kind of way to use this as an excuse to call Daly juvenile, the Chron settles for implying that he's wasting taxpayer dollars by doing this on the sfgov.org website, and ominously implies that he . Is blogging illegal now? And is it just us, or does the Chron seem a little sulky about Daly's slam on its coverage? Oh, the Chron can dish it out but can't take it, huh? (It's okay, The Chron -- we're all about dishing without taking here too!)
We keep telling you, Chris -- blogger.com! It's totally free, no use of city funds, you can say whatever you want instead of being forced to restrict yourself to "civic" commentary and putting up those "You are now leaving the website of sfgov.org" splash pages before your links to beauteous sites like, say, SFist.com, it punches the Chron in the mouth (metaphorically only, we hasten to add), and -- did we mention we could leave comments? Go like Jerry and East Bay Assembly rep Loni Hancock and use the free blog software! We're dying to know what it's really like in the Board of Supes antechamber!
Pic off the DalyBlog. We hope it's okay to use the picture, it is just so freakin' awesome.
