In other news, this week TV offers up the inevitable "Year in Review" programming. Perhaps the best bet is VH-1's The Best Year Ever. If you're a fan of The Best Week Ever, their satirical look at the week in pop culture, then you're sure to love this round-up of the show's best bits from the past year. It's a best of best of! Catch it on Thursday at 6:00pm and again on Saturday at 6:00pm.

VH-1 will also be airing the 20 Most Awesomely Bad Songs Of 2004 on Thursday at 8:00am. We have plenty of titles to suggest for the list, but as long as those "American Idol" atrocities are represented, we'll be satisfied.

For a look at the year in movies, Ebert and That Other Guy will name their 10 best movies of the year this Sunday at 6:30pm on ABC Channel 7. And Primetime Live gets into the year end round-up action with "That Was The Year That Was" at 10:00pm Thursday, also on ABC.

CNN will try to explain why George Bush was chosen as the Time Person of the Year for 2004 in a special on Friday at 10:30pm. While some might scoff at the idea of Bush as the "Person of the Year," let's not forget that the honor doesn't always go to the most "honorable" newsmakers of the year...

But who cares about the Time "Person of the Year" when E! Entertainment Television will be announcing the Entertainer of the Year on Thursday at 6:00pm! Who will it be? Jon Stewart? Lindsay Lohan? Is it Lindsay Lohan?...It's Lindsay Lohan, isn't it? Actually, we do know who it is, but we don't want to spoil the surprise. Instead we'll just wish you all the best for 2005 as we...USHER in a new year.
