The “BART #1 Transit System in America” essay contest is your chance, in 200 words or less, to share your "Best Day on BART" story. In addition to an opportunity to show off your literary genius, you could also win the grand prize of $500 worth of BART tickets.

You have until December 31 to get your submissions to BART. They are taking paper submissions only, so make sure and get your submission in soon. We have it on good authority from sources at BART that they have yet to be deluged with submissions, and that even the best ones thus far aren't all that.
