Sparks were Flying, Robots were Dying

Alcoholic Stepfather, Numbskull, Vicious Circle, Ninja, Tombstone. See any connection? That's right,those are all names of Fighting Robots. This weekend Fort Mason played host to the Robot Fighting League's 2004 National Championships. SFist was pleased to note that excessive viewing of the Comedy Central show Battlebots had prepared us well for the spectacle of flames, metal and destruction that were the RFL championships. We were even able to pick out certain celebrity robots among the competitors.
