SFist is worried that our a faithful readers will begin to think of us as the cinephile equivalent of a rice queen, but we promise we don't discriminate. It just seems like every week this summer has given us another chance to see some great Asian cinema, and we want you to go see it all, too.

That's why our big-budget pick of the week is Hero, starring Jet-Li. It was released in China in 2002, and recently found stateside distribution with those benevolent elves at Miramax. It's an epic story set in 200 BC, where people shoot really cool looking arrows and beat the crap out of each other. We're so there.
