Beginning this Friday, August 6th, the Parkway Theater in Oakland will be presenting The Animation Show, a collection of animated shorts curated by Mike Judge, the creator of "King of the Hill" and . The Parkway is a great little theater off 580 where you can enjoy movies while reclining on a couch, as your pizza and beer are brought right to you. And it's the perfect place to see something like this. Among the likely highlights of this festival is an older short from Aardman Studios, the folks who brought us Nick Park's "Creature Comforts" and the "Wallace and Gromit" series. Though this short, "Ident," is not by the genius hands of Nick Park, it should still be a clay-animation pleasure. SFist sure does love us some clay animation.
