  • Longtime Fisherman's Wharf restaurant Alioto's finally saw the demolition equipment arrive today. The Port of SF previously announced plans for a new dock and plaza area where the restaurant stands. [KTVU / Chronicle]
  • An 11-year-old girl was shot and injured by an apparent stray bullet while sitting her family's car in Antioch this afternoon. The girl is reportedly in stable condition. [KPIX]
  • Director Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain, The Ice Storm, Life of Pi) is planning to spend 50 shooting days in and around Sacramento County this year to shoot a Gold Rush epic currently titled "The Gold Mountain." [Chronicle]

National:

  • Captured Venezuelan President Nicola Maduro has pleaded not guilty to the drug trafficking charges the US has leveled against him and used as a pretense for taking over Venezuela. Maduro and his wife appeared in court in Manhattan today. [CNN]
  • Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has begun censure proceedings againt Senator Mark Kelly for that video in which he spoke the plain truth that military members should not obey illegal orders. Kelly's team has shot back with a speech Hegseth gave in 2016 in which he said essentially the same thing. [New York Times]
  • A Hilton hotel location in Minneapolist was refusing to rent rooms to ICE agents, and now the Hilton corporation has made an apology saying this was against company policy. [TMZ]
