• A 14-year-old female passenger was killed early Friday in Novato when driver Cristofer Larreinaga Corea, 18, of San Rafael allegedly lost control of his vehicle and hit the center median. Corea, who fled the scene, was arraigned on charges of child endangerment resulting in serious injury or death, felony reckless driving, and hit and run resulting in serious injury or death. [KRON4]
  • Santa Cruz police are asking for the public’s assistance locating the suspect in a violent assault Friday, August 8, between 1:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., which left the victim with traumatic injuries. The suspect is described as a thin, white male in his mid-to-late 20s who’s around 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall. [KRON4]
