Crystal Waters, whose infectious 1994 hit "100% Pure Love" has seen a resurgence recently on TikTok and elsewhere after being featured in a new Calvin Klein campaign, has been added to the Outside Lands lineup.
Promoters Another Planet Entertainment announced a few additions to the Outside Lands schedule Tuesday, as we are now two weeks and three days out from the huge annual festival in Golden Gate Park.
Also added to the lineup are binki, Rochelle Jordan and DARUMAS.
Along with today's announcements came the full schedule of set times (scroll below) for each day of the fest, August 9, 10, and 11. Waters will be closing out the weekend on the LBGTQ-focused Dolores' Stage, performing a 30-minutes set on Sunday at 7:40 pm — just before Sturgill Simpson and Kaytranada takes the stages at opposite ends of the festival grounds.
New this year to the festival is a Bacardi-sponsored dance area, Casa Bacardi, that will be focused on reggaeton, Latin, and dance music through the weekend, and the DJ lineup is shown along with the other stage schedules below.
As reported earlier the SOMA dance tent is now the SOMA dance meadow, and will be an open-air rave all weekend in Marx Meadow — a response to two consecutive years in which this tent was plagued with long lines, crowd issues, and last year, a collapsed dancefloor.
Do note: The one and only Grace Jones is on the main Lands End stage on Saturday, and is not programmed against other headliners. She'll go on before Sabrina Carpenter, who stepped in following the June back-out of Tyler, the Creator, and, on the opposite side at the Twin Peaks Stage, The Postal Service.
Both single-day and three-day tickets, GA and VIP, for the festival remain available, but sellouts around this time of year are common. The promoters say that "limited" three-day tickets remain. As always, the schedule below will be available through the downloadable festival app.
