- We just learned that Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield has a quarantine facility to house 250 people, and now it's getting its first guests off a flight from China. The flight contains about 250 Americans who are being evacuated from Wuhan, the second of its kind, and Travis is one of four military bases selected as 14-day quarantine sites. [Chronicle]
- A woman died early Tuesday after the vehicle she was driving crashed into a marked semi truck on an off-ramp of 101 in Santa Rosa. The crash occurred at 12:25 a.m. on the Bicentennial Way off-ramp, and the truck had pulled over to look at directions. [KRON4]
- Yet another statewide rent-control measure is headed to the November ballot. The measure would overwrite the 1995 Costa-Hawkins Rental Housing Act, and it would allow local governments to pass their own rent control ordinances for housing units that are at least 15 years old. [SF Business Times]

- Once again blaming a drop in demand for flights to China, United Airlines is suspending its flights between SFO and Hong Kong for twelve days starting Saturday. [SF Business Times]
