Eastbound Bay Bridge Traffic Backed Up Into SF Following Rollover Crash

If you're reverse-commuting to Oakland or otherwise need to get to the East Bay this morning, you may want to consider BART.

A rollover crash is blocking three of the five eastbound lanes of the Bay Bridge Monday morning. The crash happened just before 8 a.m. and a person may have been trapped in the overturned car, according to KPIX.

The crash happened west of Treasure Island, on the lower deck of the western span of the bridge.

As of 20 minutes ago, ABC 7's Alexis Smith was reporting via chopper that the overturned vehicle had been righted and was hooked up to a tow truck.

Expect residual traffic delays as the scene gets cleaned up.

No information is yet available about any injuries.
