• A suspect was arrested Saturday night in El Cerrito following a carjacking that occurred in Oakland with a three-year-old child in the car, prompting an Amber Alert. The girl was found safe two hours after the suspect crashed the Mercedes that he allegedly carjacked. [NBC Bay Area]
• UPDATE: The father of the girl has been arrested for making a false report. Oakland police now report that the father falsely said his daughter was in the car in order to get the car found more quickly, when in fact she was safe with her mother at the time of the carjacking. [CBS SF]
• Two men have been arrested in the March 11, 2017 killing of 21-year-old Oswaldo Fuentes in North Beach. Carlos Valiente of Richmond and Anthony Molina of Benicia are both being held on $1 million bail. [Examiner]
