A prowler who broke into a Clay Street residence was arrested this morning, after his victim grabbed him and refused to let go until police arrived.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the hot prowl was called in at 12:55 Thursday morning, after the 33-year-old suspect apparently used a garage door opener to enter the home.
The 39-year-old resident heard the incursion, and confronted the suspect in the home's garage, police say.
Though the suspect tried to flee, he was unsuccessful: The resident grabbed onto the suspect, and "physically restrain"ed him until police arrived.
The suspect was arrested, police say, and was booked into San Francisco County Jail.
