A man under the influence of multiple drugs, including meth and acid, went on a drug-fueled rampage through a Santa Rosa neighborhood Tuesday morning, then through a nearby medical center where he injured several people, and then after stripping off his clothes he went running down a street where he was hit by a car and ultimately incapacitated by a police officer's Taser.

As CBS 5 reports of the colorful incident, things began with the man assaulting a family member at a home on the 1500 block of Ridley Avenue around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.

The Chronicle says the victim was a "39-year-old housemate" whom he punched in the head, and then he proceeded to threaten others in the home with a kitchen knife. The paper identifies the suspect as 21-year-old Joshua Fajardo.

Fajardo then apparently got into a car and promptly hit a fire hydrant or water main, sending a plume of water into the air, before proceeding to the St. Joseph Health Pulmonary Medicine clinic at 585 W. College Avenue.

That's when things got even more dramatic, per the Chron:

After that, Fajardo was reported to have entered the medical center, first attacking a man in the waiting room, then chasing a woman who tried to escape through a receptionist’s window.

He attacked at least two others as he went through various rooms, banging on doors, police said, before a 71-year-old female employee at the medical center fought back, grabbing him by the testicles.

“Her actions were effective and he left the room,” a police press release said.

After getting naked, running off, and getting Tased, Fajardo was arrested by police on suspicion of four counts of felony assault, elder abuse and two counts of misdemeanor assault. He's also being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, and in a clue that he has had brushes with the law, he's also charged with brandishing a weapon and violation of probation.
