Two young males are being sought by the san Francisco Police Department, after they attacked a man walking through a Mission District park.
Police say the assault happened at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, near the Potrero Skatepark at 1400 Potrero Avenue.
According to the SFPD, a teen aged 14-16 and a child aged 10-11, both male, started harassing a 29-year-old man as he walked through the park.
The duo threw water on the man, police say, then the attack escalated, as the pair hit the man at least three times with a skateboard and punched the man multiple times.
The victim was injured seriously enough in the attack that he was transported from the scene to an area hospital, police say. He is expected to survive.
The suspects fled the area, according to the SFPD. As of Tuesday morning, police say that no arrests have been made in the assault. Police ask that anyone with information on the crime call SFPD's Anonymous Tip Line at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the beginning of the message.
