Kevin Durant said he hadn't even had a beer since February as he basked in the Warriors' championship win over the Cleveland Cavaliers Monday night, but he likely made up for it in Champagne at the after-party alongside his teammates. There was a big party for the Dubs and their friends, family, and coaching staff at Harlot in San Francisco where the Moet & Chandon flowed freely so freely, as SFGate reports, that at least 80 bottles were killed, including huge magnums of Moet & Chandon Nectar Imperial Rosé embossed with the Golden State Warriors insignia.
According to TMZ, those six-liter bottles can go for $15,000 apiece.
They estimate that the team racked up a $150,000 bill that night, but I'd probably peg it higher.
Also in attendance: Too $hort, E-40, and former football players Terrell Owens and Blake Anderson.
The party, which was obviously contingent on the team winning, was thrown together in less than 12 hours, but I'd have to guess those bottles were engraved ahead of time.
Here's Draymond Green and Ian Clark using the bottles to soak the crowd.
Also, here's head coach Steve Kerr chugging out of one of them.
