A psychiatrist at the University of California San Francisco and his reported boyfriend, a noted former performer in pornographic films, were arrested in SF this week after police say both were caught with child pornography.

According to a press release sent by the San Francisco Police Department, their Internet Crimes Against Children "began an investigation into an individual who was uploading and trading child pornography on the internet" in March of this year.

The suspect, police say, was identified as 36-year-old SF resident Billy Lockhart, a psychiatrist who works at UCSF. According to the SFPD, "Investigators determined that Lockhart was using UCSF Wi-Fi internet to upload child pornography."

On Tuesday, police say they searched Lockhart’s home, located on the 100 block of Buena Vista Terrace. According to the SFPD, "investigators located numerous media devices belonging to Lockhart, which all contained hundreds of child pornography videos and images. Investigators were able to gather evidence that Lockhart was also viewing child pornography."

Police say that they also "located hundreds of child pornography files on media devices" that belong to another resident of the home, 33 year-old Benjamin Martin.

Both were arrested at the scene, police say. Lockhart was booked into San Francisco County Jail on for possession of child pornography, possession of over 600 files of child pornography, and distribution of child pornography. Martin was charged for possession of child pornography and possession of over 600 files of child pornography.

According to Lockhart's UCSF profile page, he's a graduate of Yale University’s School of Medicine, and is a psychiatry resident in UCSF's 2019 class. In an emailed statement, the school said that when they learned of the allegations, they suspended all of Lockhart's clinical activity as well as access to UCSF systems. They also placed him on investigatory leave, they said.

"The UCSF Police Department is fully cooperating with the San Francisco Police Department in this investigation," UCSF said via statement, and “takes theses allegations extremely seriously.”

According to a report from The Sword (the link to which depicts pornographic images, and is decidedly NSFW), Benjamin Martin is also known as "Blu Kennedy," a gay porn actor. Per Str8UpGayPorn (similar warnings for their link, here), "Martin and Lockhart have been boyfriends for the past year," publishing numerous photos of the couple from Martin's since-removed Facebook page.

According to Str8UpGayPorn, Martin "was an extremely well known gay adult performer and model from 2006 to 2012, appearing in over 80 scenes and movies for over a dozen gay adult companies." He "was seeking to get his pilot's license for an unknown reason," The Gay Republic (also an NSFW link) reports.

Speaking with ABC 7, a neighbor of the couple says the pair "moved in just three months ago," and says the men "seemed friendly."

According to a spokesperson with the San Francisco Sheriff's Department, both men have posted bond and are out of custody. As of publication time, information on their respective court dates was not publicly available.
