A mugger in a Mercedes robbed at least two victims Monday during an evening shakedown in the Mission.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the male victims (aged 36 and 30) were walking on 23rd Street near Folsom Street at 10:30 p.m. when the crime occurred.

Two suspects in their 20s approached the men on foot, police say, Suddenly, one of the suspects pulled out a gun, and demanded their property.

The victims handed over their cell phones, wallets, a backpack, and $40, police say.

The suspects then "jumped into a white Mercedes and fled," heading south on Folsom, police say. (It's worth noting that a rash of Noe Valley-area crimes were ascribed to suspects in a white Mercedes back in 2015. According to Noe Valley SF, those suspects were not ever arrested.) They remain at large, and no arrests have been made in the case.
