The anonymous Bernal Heights resident who for several years running has imported some snow to Precita Park and installed a snowman there was back at it this weekend. Twitterers like the one above documented the melting man melting despite the fact that this was SF's coldest Christmas in 18 years, because the low was but 41 degrees.
This year, the snowman doubles as a Hanukkah treat as well.
And once again, this is a nice thing. As Bernalwood says, "no matter how hard this year may have been, the Seasonal Deities nevertheless saw fit to reward us for our neighborly virtue."
