What's that you say? You don't know what pop music is anymore since you don't have a radio and you mostly just listen to your Discovery playlist on Spotify? Still, you probably haven't been able to avoid that Justin Timberlake song, and Rihanna and Calvin Harris's "This Is What You Came For" has probably been playing in every bar and club you've set foot in in the last eight months, assuming you do such things. And in an annual tradition, formerly SF-based DJ Earworm (a.k.a. Jordan Roseman) has just released his United States of Pop for 2016, mashing up two dozen of the year's biggest charting hits, along with their videos.
So if you feel like you're behind the times, you can catch up here all in under four minutes. And this year's mashup is notable for being the first one in years not to include either Katy Perry or Maroon 5. There's always next year. (And ICYMI, here's Earworm's summer mash, which is also Rihanna-heavy.)
