A teen who will filming some skateboarders found himself in a crime movie Tuesday, when an all-too-real mugger arrived on the scene.
The 14-year-old male victim was, police say, filming skateboarders at Geary Boulevard and Steiner Street, which is the location of the Raymond Kimball Playground, at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, a teen aged 16-18 approached the victim, and "brandished a handgun in his waist band."
The gun-wielding teen demanded the filmmaker's cell phone. Fearing the worst, the victim handed it over, and the thief ran off.
The victim was not injured in the attack, police say, and the suspect remains at large. As of Wednesday morning, according to the SFPD, no arrests have been made.
