A man waiting in line at a San Francisco homeless shelter was robbed of his possessions Thursday morning, after a criminal duo restrained and mugged him.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the crime went down at 6 a.m. Thursday on the 100 block of Golden Gate Avenue, which is between Jones and Leavenworth Streets.

The victim, a 28-year-old man, was "sitting in a homeless shelter line," according to the SFPD. Suddenly, two men approached, one in his 40s and another in his 20s. The older man, police say, held the victim down as the younger man went through his pockets.
