We've all been there, right? You have something large to move, but don't own a truck or a cargo van with which to transport it. And, of course, that one friend of yours who does own a truck just so happens to be in Joshua Tree eating mushrooms so you can't borrow hers.
So, what to do? Try to carry the thing? This only works for intra-neighborhood moves, and is a huge pain. (I once wheeled a ping-pong table ten blocks through the Mission — this is not recommended.) Whoever felt the need to move the large TV pictured above on Julian Avenue in the Mission went with Option C: Duct tape the damn thing to the trunk of a car and hope for the best.
We can only assume this went exceptionally well.
