During the halftime show of the Rose Bowl game yesterday, in which the Stanford Cardinal absolutely crushed the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Stanford band's performance was udderly unappreciated by many fans in attendance.
ESPN reports the band was booed by Iowa fans after forming the face of a sad farmer, a corn maze, and playing the jingle from the FarmersOnly.com (a dating website that caters to, well, farmers looking for love) commercials, and topped off the performance with a simulated cow-tipping:

The corn maze looks pretty cool, to be honest:

According to SB Nation, this is the third time in four years that the band has gotten in trouble for their antics at the Rose Bowl. More recently, in May, the band was banned from traveling to road games for one year after violating school policies such as when "a band member was given an alcoholic concoction intended to make that individual vomit publicly; an annual trip in which some band members used illegal substances; and a band selection process in which individuals were asked a number of inappropriate questions on sexual matters," according to a statement from the university.
It remains to be seen if the band will face any repercussions from this year's Rose Bowl performance. The band's reply to the outcry was basically, "Sorry, not sorry."
Glad you liked our corn show, Iowa! Couldn't tell, was that booing or mooing? #imsosorry #1dayfromretirement
