Fisherman's Wharf was the scene of two burglaries last Friday, as business owners claim they were hit for potentially thousands of dollars in merchandise just before opening in the a.m. Video of the alleged thieves shows two men, casually strolling through the Wharf shortly after 8:00 a.m., pilfered wares in hand.
The stores in question, Krazy Kaps and Antiques of California, sell "a variety of the craziest headwear around" and signed memorabilia, respectively.
KRON 4 reports that items stolen from Antiques of California include a signed photo of Willie Mays, and a replica World Series Ring. No mention was made as to what specific krazy kaps were stolen.
Fisherman's Wharf was the scene of a smash and grab earlier this year, when a U-Haul was used to blow through the front a Patagonia store. Two men where responsible for that burglary as well, reportedly stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise.
