Yep, it was a whole two years ago that Four Barrel opened its Portola location, making for three spots total (if you count the Mill on Divis). Very much in the style of the garden neighborhood, the Portola outpost is located on an old greenhouse lot at 2 Burrows Street. If you haven't been, know that it's more intimate than the big Mission and Divisadero coffee halls.
Oh, last, if you do stop by, don't forget to look up. The ceiling is adorned with old redwood pipes that carried water from Hetch Hetchy for a century — crazy.
