Of course you know Koko, the world-famous Bay Area gorilla known not just for her facility with sign language as for her amazing relationship with a kitten.

Koko get her first kitten, a manx who she named "All Ball," in 1984. She got two more manxes, who she named "Lipstick" and "Smokey," in 1985 after All Ball was struck and killed by a car.

In a video posted this week by the Woodside, California-based Gorilla Foundation (where Koko has lived since 1976), we learn that for her 44th birthday, Koko adopted two more kittens (named "Mrs. Gray," the other "Ms. Black," in a very Reservoir Dogsish move), both of whom she is, a Foundation spokesperson says, "treating like they are her babies."
