Two Bay Area individuals have been arrested for child pornography, including pictures involving sadomasochism and children as young as 1-year old.
Authorities with both the FBI and SFPD's Internet Crimes Against Children unit announced the April arrest of 40 year-old Kori Nicole Ellis and the August 28 arrest of 29-year old Patrick Harvey. Also arrested in the United Kingdom were a married couple that Ellis had been in communication with, according to SFGate.
In April, police served a search warrant at Ellis' home and found over 600 images and videos of child pornography, including files involving sadomasochism and children as young as 1. Investigators also discovered that Ellis would be involved in chats where she would coerce children in several states to send graphic images to herself, and also communications with suspected pedophiles, according to the Marin Independent Journal
One in case, authorities discovered a Skype chat with a married couple from the UK. "She was even able to convince a family, a couple, over in the UK and asked of them to engage in child pornographic acts for her pleasure and to send it to her," Officer Carlos Manfredi told ABC 7 News.
That couple was identified in May, according to KRON, and were arrested. Their five children were put into protective care.
Harvey, according to investigators, had met with Ellis in person and traded child pornography. He was arrested at his home in Novato on August 28.
Ellis has plead not guilty to several charges of child pornography. Harvey's lawyer expects his client to plead not guilty.
