Smoke blowing in from wildfires burning up north have created the hazy conditions you're seeing throughout the Bay Area today.
Don't worry, they're not local wildfires so don't tie up 9-1-1:

Although the sky is hazy and you can actually smell the smoke in the air, the Spare The Air alert issued for Sunday is not related to the smoke.
The major source of the smoke is the Jerusalem Fire, that has burned both Lake and Napa Counties. Thankfully, it is on its way to containment, says SFGate.
