Returning to his pop-up roots, chef Richie Nakano, now with his Hapa Ramen name back, will be back to making broth this weekend at a late supper on Sunday at Daniel Patterson's Alta CA. The special pop-up menu will only be available from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. that night, and it marks Nakano's second return to the scene after another small pop-up he did at Wing Wings last week only that one wasn't ramen, it was Tex-Mex chimichangas and tacos.
Interestingly, the Hapa Ramen Twitter account has remained dormant since the big shakeup in March that left Nakano without a job or restaurant. But Nakano's remained active on his longtime personal account, @linecook.
Oh btw I’m doing a ramen pop up next Sunday late night at Alta if you’re into that sort of thing
