As is traditional, Saturday night (and Sunday) was ablaze with illegal rooftop and middle-of-the-street fireworks displays, particularly in the Mission — and dangerous though it might be it was, as usual, the only fireworks most anyone saw unless you trekked all the way to the Embarcadero.

And once again, some amateur fireworks aficionados spent some major money to put on this show!

This is what it looked like down at Fisherman's Wharf, per usual.

And this video shows a far-away view of the official SF fireworks, from a drone about 300 feet in the air (which caught at least one section not obscured by fog?), as well as the smaller illegal stuff from a wide view.
