Fans of kids' lit are likely familiar with The Horn Book magazine as well as with author and illustrator Dan Santat. The two come together in an upcoming issue, with Santat's drawing of an SF street on the publication's cover.

Santat, a Caldecott award winner, is in town this week for the American Library Association's annual conference, hence his tweeted gif of his cable cared work in progress. And even he knows he couldn't have arrived at a better time:
