The Pied Piper team is back to roast the town in this promo trailer for HBO's Silicon Valley Season 2, which is set to air on April 12th. And notably TJ Miller — who portrays the eccentric entrepreneur Erlich Bachmann — is front and center, hot off a widely criticized award presentation at TechCrunch's Crunchies Awards last night. Onstage, as Business Insider reports, he mocked Uber CEO (and Crunchie winner) Travis Kalanick's girlfriend. However, she admittedly dates Travis Kalanick, and also brought a dog to Davies Symphony Hall, albeit an adorable one. Anyway, we now have a clue as to what Miller might have been on, as in the above video his character takes a pretty thorough bong rip, and in an particularly appropriate shot appears in front of a giant TechCrunch Disrupt check for $50k.
