Will you be one of the people flocking to the AMC Theatres at the Metreon this weekend, mainly to catch the 88-second teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens? Well, good for you! But here's another option: why not instead ponder an alternate universe where our Star Wars pals confront a far darker force than Disney's ongoing commodification of our childhood: instead, what if Luke, Leia, and the gang met up with the Alien?

That's the premise of this surprisingly-effective trailer mash-up from Comical Runs, which seems to specialize in such things. It almost makes you forget the disappointing Alien vs Predator franchise, a premise that had limitless promise but ended up sucking donkey dongs. (and DO NOT get me started on Prometheus.)

OK, so we'll never actually see an actual Star Wars vs Alien, at least, not with this cast. But we can still dream.
