As predicted last week, Apple's scheduled event tomorrow is all about new iPads, just in time for the holiday shopping season. And now, via some employee's screwup in the iTunes store iBooks section, the specs of the new iPad mini 3 and iPad Air 2 were released a day early. Frothing-at-the-mouth, Apple-obsessed blogs have leapt on the news, like 9to5mac and MacRumors, so get ready. Here they are.
It looks like the iPad mini 3 is pretty similar to the previous generation, but there's now a touch-ID sensor on the home button, a stronger processor, and possibly a gold option.
The iPad Air 2 looks like it has a burst-photo option now, and also the touch sensor ID and upgraded processor.
Do with this information what you will.
