One of SFist's favorite photographers, Darwin Bell, has been out of town for a bit. We sure have missed him! Upon his return, he did what lots of us do when we're settling back in—hit an old haunt, in his case, Castro bar The Lookout.

I'm making a mental note to make sure this place ends up on our Best Of: Bars with a View list next year. I'd forgotten how great it is to look out at the city from their balcony until Darwin reminded us all.
