Early Tuesday morning two cops working the Mission Street beat just south of Cesar Chavez stopped a man for riding his bicycle on the sidewalk. Knowing he was a scofflaw, the man immediately admitted he was on probation and currently holding a backpack full of drugs and weapons.

The suspect was running an entire drug running operation out of his backpack, apparently: according to the Examiner, the cops found "a large amount" of methamphetamine and marijuana, bottles of prescription drugs, a digital scale, $500 cash and a list of all the people who owed him money.

He was booked at Ingleside Station on "a variety of charges," the worst of which was undoubtedly his decision to bike on the sidewalk.
