The storied (and, in recent years, scandal-beset) high-end fashion retailer Christian Dior on Tuesday announced that they will be opening a 10,000 square foot flagship store in San Francisco's Union Square.
According to a press release sent by Grosvenor Americas, an international property developer, the luxury label will move into a three floor space at 185 Post Street following a two-year "interior fit-out."
To keep all you fans of the extremely expensive designer clothing, leather goods, jewelry, skin care, and fragrance house going until then, keep an eye out for documentarian Frederic Tcheng's Dior and I, which screened at the Tribeca Film Festival last week to glowing reviews. Or, like me, you can just enjoy this (surprisingly relevant!) late 70s-early 80s b-side from the great Adam and the Ants.
