The star-chef wattage in SoMa just got brighter, at least for those of you who consider chefs celebrities. Grayson Schmitz, who appeared on season 9 of Top Chef's Texas cycle, can now be seen at acclaimed, sacred, controversial Saison. She'll act as the restaurant's chef de partie working under Joshua Skenes.
Also, according to Eater NY, she's hot. So there's that.
This makes the second noted acquisition for the tony tasting menu-based restaurant. As Eater SF points out, Mitch Lienhard, formerly of Chicago's Grace, is the joint's recent executive sous chef. Fancy that.
