On Sunday night, about two hours after the Niners' crushing loss in Seattle, two people were shot and injured on Turk Street between Market and Taylor. Those familiar with this colorful block may now feel more justified in driving quickly past it, or trying to avoid walking on it.

The shooting occurred at 9:10 p.m., a half away from a certain classy establishment called The 21 Club, and as Bay City News reports, the place remained busy after the game, despite the shooting.

One victim was shot in the leg and another was shot in the arm, and both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A suspect was quickly detained, with a firearm, less than a block away on Market Street.
