If you've ever felt the urge to re-live the groundbreaking car chase from Bullitt in contemporary San Francisco, but couldn't be bothered with finding a Mustang and participating in some moving vehicle violations, then this bit of YouTube documentary filmmaking will fill the Steve McQueen-shaped void in your life.

YouTuber Herve Attia re-shot the scene in the same locations as the original across town and in Marin. (Observant film buffs will remember doesn't actually follow a single path.) After a few setup shots from early on in the film, the car chase picks up at Potrero and Army/Cesar Chavez Streets around the five-minute mark. Since traffic court was probably not in Attia's production budget, there's a little editing work done to make things match the excessive speeds McQueen and company hit while shooting the original.
