Wednesday is trash day in some parts of the Western Addition, and a 45-year-old woman was robbed while she was taking out her garbage Wednesday morning. She had come out of her apartment around 7 a.m. and two armed suspects were apparently lying in wait in her building's courtyard.

They followed her and forced their way into her apartment at gunpoint, then they grabbed her purse and some other belongings and fled. The suspects have not been found or identified, which: shocking.

This all happened on the 1100 block of Scott Street, near Turk, and if you thought all crime, or all Western Addition crime, happened at night, you'd be wrong. 7 a.m.! Whilst taking out trash!
