Please enjoy this very short but poignant film about what ridiculous, alienating, divorced-from-the-present losers we all are when it comes to playing with our phones, both in public and in private. In some sense, sure, they've made our lives better, more informed, and more immediately connected. But in another, they've clearly made us worse at being in the moment with the people in our lives, and worse at simply observing our environment while we're in it, because we'd rather be scanning our news feeds or playing Candy Crush. Yes, we suck.
The film was conceived by Charlene deGuzman (she's also featured in it), and was directed by Miles Crawford.
