It's that time of year again. SF Chefs begins its annual traditio nof culinary decadence and drunken mayhem starting tomorrow, Thursday, with live demos, wine, bartender tips from the experts, food, wine, local notable chefs, mass artisanal consumption, and more wine. You know the drill by now. But do you know what's happening at the many events this year? Here are but a few choice events to keep on your radar:

THURSDAY

Pork and Incanto (1 pm): Top Chef Masters Chef Chris Cosentino teaches you how to eat light and healthy with an ethical assortment of summer greens. Ha, no, not really. Not at all. He'll cook tons of adorable pigs and probably make you eat pig eyeballs or butt bacon. Or something. He's really good, though, so you might enjoy it, you weirdo.

Bar Bites: Sips and Tastes from the Best Bars in the Bay (6 pm): Alas, sold out. You can't go. But here to hoping that you know someone who can get you in.

FRIDAY

5th Anniversary Friday Night Opening Celebration (6:30 pm): This here, you see, is the big event. (Strange world these days, folks.) But! The food is the main spectacle. Expect to dine on acclaimed fare from Betelnut (Alexander Ong and Mario Tolentino), Spruce (Mark Sullivan and John Madriaga), Tacolicious (Telmo Faria), Morimoto Napa (Jessica Entzel) and Wayfare Tavern (Tyler Florence), just to name a few.

Rollin' with the Red Carpet: San Francisco Magazine's Best Chefs After Party (10 pm): This is where the chefs go to fart off some steam after the tent show. Everyone gets trashed. A sheer delight. Check it out.

SATURDAY

The Five Tastes - Bitter, Sour, Salty, Sweet and Umami (12:30 pm): Demos, classes, and food by 1300 on Fillmore (David Lawrence), Azalinas Malaysian (Azalina Eusope), Barbacco (Nick Kelly), Campton Place (Srijith Gopinathan), Hi Lo BBQ and Hog & Rocks (Robin Song), and more.

Decadence After Dark, The Menu is in the Music (7 pm): We have no idea what that title even means. It should mean that you have to sing for your food. We would love to see that. We would pay to see that. (A food writer paying for anything, can you even imagine? The industry would collapse into ruins.) Anyway, it's another night under the tent.

SUNDAY

Sunday Day: Brunch by the Bay (11 am): Big ol' tent party in the afternoon on an ordinay Sunday. Delightful.

Check out SFChefs for more details on other events, ticket prices, and all-star chef lineups. Cheers!
