More gunfire hit Oakland this week. Early Wednesday morning in the city's Dimond District, a robbery attempt outside a Oakland strip mall left one man injured, as well as said mall riddled with bullet holes.

KTVU has more:

Two suspects, one armed with a firearm, robbed a victim at gunpoint in the 2800 of block MacArthur Boulevard near Coolidge Avenue in the city's Dimond District neighborhood at about 2 a.m., police said.

The suspects then attempted to rob a second victim at the same location also at gunpoint. A salvo of as many as 10 shots left the second victim with a leg wound and at least three businesses with bullet holes in their windows.

According to Oakland Tribune, the suspects demanded wallets and phone before opening fire on their prey.

No word yet on description of suspects. The physically injured victim, however, is expected to recover.
