At around 3:50 this morning near 16th Street and Rondel Place, three people were shot. One victim was shot in the torso, the other two plugged in the legs. All three were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated, one with life-threatening wounds.
A police car was also hit during the melee.
Fortunately, all three suspects involved were arrested. The Chronicle reports, "Officers soon spotted a Mercedes-Benz that police believe was connected to the shootings and chased it to the Bayview, where it hit two parked cars and backed into a patrol car as the driver tried to get away."
No motive has been given for the shooting. We'll update as soon as we know more.
