According to USGS, a 5.7 magnitude earthquake hit Greeniville, Calif., a town located on the the north-west side of Indian Valley and 88 miles from Chico. The tremor, hitting at 8:47 p.m., was felt in Stockton and Sacramento.
No word yet of any injuries or damage We'll update as soon as we know more.
UPDATE: People react to the quake:
There have been a number of aftershocks from Greenville, CA quake.. the volcano it was near was active about 100 years ago.Back to a 5.7

Some claim the quake was also felt in Sacramento:
From old HS friends, the Greenville quake was felt all throughout the foothills. Some felt in Sacramento.
