This new artisan Avis ad, featuring Thomas Keller, lays it on thick. It's got winding roads, dead fish, music that belongs in a Cymbalta ad, tender mushroom foraging, and more. Keller, a noted Michelin three-star chef, appears in the commercial as part of the rental car company's celebrity "Professionals" series.
Speaking of celebrity, Keller recently blamed the media for rise of the "celebrity chef," noting to Huffington Post. "We didn't create the celebrity chef, the media did. I never said I was a celebrity chef. I can only express to you my ideas and it's up to you to decide how you write about it."
